The Good Girl Confessional began sometime after I found myself seriously single in my 40’s after years in the ‘marriage bubble’ – dating and trying to navigate a sex life from behind the picket fence. I started out trying to find myself, and then my very own Mr Darcy…and then something far more real and meaningful…but always I have sought to find things that make my heart soar.
I’m a freelance writer and blogger and like all women, I’m complex. I’m a creatrix, writer, poet, mother, friend, fighter of the good fight, drinker of good French martinis (are there any other kind?), a lover and more recently a girlfriend. I’m passionate, opinionated and independent. I’m also vulnerable and not afraid of my inner goddess. Sometimes fabulous and sometimes not. I’m still a work in progress.
Standing on the tight rope of life, often without a net, I am the Good Girl. I am the sum of many things…but I am more than circus tricks.

If you had not written about your age, I would have imagined you to be young. And that is not intended as an insult. There is a a youthful energy about you…an exuberance which is very delightful, and most refreshing. Especially, when it comes from someone who has gone through her fair share in life.
